A practical Kludgy guide

Plan a week that fits your actual time

A useful weekly plan shows what is already fixed and what can still move. It does not need to account for every hour.

Write the fixed commitments first

Add work, school, appointments, and travel time. Put a reminder beside anything that needs preparation, such as a form to sign or something to bring. If two commitments overlap, resolve that before adding more plans.

Choose a short list of priorities

Use the “What matters this week” box for the few things you would be disappointed to miss. “Book the appointment” is easier to act on than “catch up on everything.” Keep everyday maintenance separate so it does not hide that short list.

Leave a margin

Keep some time unclaimed. A delayed appointment, a tired evening, or an extra errand should not require rewriting the whole week. Move optional tasks when the day changes.

Make the plan easy to find

Print the page where the household can see it, or download a text copy. If you use device saving, remember that it is limited to that browser. Avoid putting private details on a shared-device plan.
